Colin has (so far) plastered and redecorated a large bedroom for us. This is in an Edwardian house, where the ceiling and walls plaster work were in very poor condition. Colin has the advantage that both plaster work and subsequent painting and decorating works are under his own control. He suggested the best ways to deal with the problems and has provided an excellent result that is better than I thought could be achieved. Colin did a quality job; he did not cut corners.

We contracted MCL to Plaster and re decorate our home. It was to big a job for us to carry out. One of our friends referred MCL to us as they had
previously carried out work for them and we could physically see the work
they had carried out prior to getting them in, the work was immaculate so
we contacted MCL and they gave us a costing for the job which was very
reasonable. The works they carried out for us were to a very high standard.
Once the plastering work was finished, the ceilings and walls were very
flat and smooth. After the decorator finished you can`t even see a seam
between each length of wallpaper and our home now looks great. They were
always happy and very curious on site,”which is a bonus in the build
sector”. They cleaned up after they had finished. All in all, we are more
than happy with the service MCL provided and we will use them again when
the need arises. We have already referred them to members of our family.

We contracted MCL to plaster and paint our west end kitchen. This also involved fitting a traditional ceiling rose. The work done was excellent
and the kitchen now looks great with new ornate cornicing and traditional
features restored. We found them on the internet and asked them for a quote
– what swung it for us was their eye for detail and suggestions they came
away with so we got the impression they were really thinking about what
would look good. They kept us informed throughout the process and all in
all I can’t fault them. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or refer them
on.

I contracted Colin to plaster and decorate my 4 bed Victorian flat. It was a large job made more difficult by the fact that I was out of the country and
was trusting them to complete the job to my satisfaction over the phone.
They completed the job to my full satisfaction and kept me up to date on
progress reports regularly. No job was too much trouble and they really did
a fantastic job in repairing the original ceiling cornicing. I would
strongly recommend them and would definitely work with them again when
needed. Their pricing was very reasonable too.

I contracted this company in to do some works around my home and I am more than happy with the end result. They stripped old wallpaper, Plastered, Painted
and Decorated a few rooms. The end result was absolutely fantastic and it
wasn`t to expensive either. I had 3 companies in to cost for the works MCL
were not the cheapest out of the 3 but they were not the most expensive
either, it was their enthusiasm and knowledge that I was impressed by and
also the fact that they were not the most expensive, “obviouslyâ€. You get
what you pay for and we are more than happy with the finished job. They
also had a bank of other tradesmen that they refered on to me for other
works eg, joiner, tiler, electrician, plumber etc and their workmanship was
also second to none. I would refer them to anyone and I will use MCL again
when needed.

with a very reasonable estimate and we contracted them to carry out the
works in 8 of our stores. They painted and papered the stores allocated to

We have just completed a major refurbishment of our head offices in Port Glasgow and after a number of quotes we decided to use MCL Plastering and
Decorating Services. Our decision was based on a number of factors not
least the professional way in which they approached the job but also the
flexibility shown by them. They were very tolerant and reworked the quote
several times to take account of a number of changes we made to the job as
it was progressing. The fact that they worked around our core hours,”night
shift work” keeping any disruption to a minimum was also a major plus for
me and any snagging was taken care of as it was found. I would recommend
MCL and would use them again as and when required.
